Building Materials Non Combustibility performance

Non Combustibility Tester

1.Application

This test specifies a procedure for determining whether or not a material will contribute directly to fire development and is relevant to classification of all building products (including floorings) into classes A1 and A2.

1.Key parameters

750±5℃ temperature automatically control by PID and Power controller.

Provided with stabilized voltage supply for more quick temperature stabilization.

Equipped with 3 thermocouples, for temperature in furnace, specimen center, and specimen surface respectively.

Test method for Flooring Panel.

Radiant Flooring Panel Test Apparatus

This method is applicable to all types of flooring. e.g. textile carpet, cork, wood, rubber and plastics coverings as well as coatings. Results obtained by this method reflect the performance of the flooring, including any substrate if used. Modifications of the backing, bonding to a substrate, underlay or other changes of the flooring may affect test results.

1 (3)

Application

It is cable to the measurement and description of the properties of floorings in response to heat and flame under controlled laboratory conditions. It should not be used alone to describe or appraise the fire hazard or fire risk of floorings under actual fire conditions.

Key parameters

The radiant panel generates a radiant energy flux distribution ranging from a nominal maximum of 10.9 kW/m2 to a minimum of 1.1 kW/m2.

5. Dummy calibration specimen with holder, calibrated heat flux meter and mounting.

6. The distance burned until flame-out is reached and converted, by calibration, into an equivalent critical radiant flux, in kW/m2.

7. Heat Flux Meter: Range: 0 ~ 50 kw/m2; Surface emissivity: ε=0.95± 0.05
