The significance of testing impact resistance of molten metal.

Clothing fabric, as the second skin of human body, has been widely recognized for its functions of keeping out the cold and beautifying. In shipbuilding, steel, machinery, petroleum, automobile, fire control, chemical industry, industrial furnaces and all industries that are exposed to open flames or flammable materials, it is common for metal droplets to splash on workers, which poses a threat to the personal safety of workers. Therefore, the fabric used for welding protective clothing must have the ability to protect the human body from molten metal, sparks and high-temperature scorching during welding, and be suitable for welding or spark splashing places, so as to effectively protect individual workers.

The impact resistance tester of molten metal, which meets AQ 6103, ISO 9150: 1988, CSN EN 348: 1992, GB 8965.2: 2009, GB/T 17599: 1998 and other test standards, is developed according to EN 348 and ISO 9150 test standards.

The molten metal drop impact resistance test device adopts a stepping motor to drive the metal strip, and the running speed of the metal strip can be set. Equipped with melt-drop guide mechanism, coated with high-temperature anti-sticking guide groove, with an angle of 45 degrees, good thermal conductivity and firmness. Temperature rise data can be automatically recorded with high automation level.
